Business Management

A business is an entity — a company that owns properties, employs workers, and manages finances. This page covers everything you can do from the business tablet (/business).

Statistics

Every business tracks 30 days of rolling statistics across three categories:

Net Worth

Daily snapshot of total business value (balance + property values). Track growth over time.

Financial

Daily income, expenses, and maintenance costs. Weekly profit trends with percentage change indicators.

Production

Quantity of each item produced per day across all properties. Monitor output efficiency.

The statistics panel in the tablet displays charts and trends so shareholders can monitor business health at a glance.

Treasury

The business has a liquid bank account (balance) that all money flows through:

Deposits

Shareholders can deposit personal money into the business.

Withdrawals

Shareholders can withdraw from the business. Daily limit applies via Config.DailyWithdrawalLimit.

Income

Production sales, market transactions, and external script integrations.

Expenses

Salaries, taxes, maintenance, dividends, and market purchases.

Transaction History

Every transaction is logged with type, amount, description, who initiated it, and a timestamp. Transactions are stored in the core_business_transactions database table and viewable from the tablet with pagination.

Shareholders

Businesses support multiple shareholders with percentage-based ownership.

Majority Shareholder

The owner — has full control over the business. Can activate other shareholders, manage settings, and access all panels.

Active Shareholders

Toggled by the owner. Can view all panels, manage properties/employees, access treasury, and create market listings.

Inactive Shareholders

Can only view basic business info and receive dividend payments. No management access.

Shares can be transferred between players with automatic proportional redistribution. When a shareholder is removed, their shares redistribute to remaining holders.

Settings

UI Background

Visual theme for the tablet (glass).

Dividend Percent

% of post-tax profits distributed to shareholders each operations tick. Set to 0 to reinvest all.

Notifications

Toggle alerts for production activity, income events, and emergency situations like raids.

Racket Mode

Allow gang racket collection on your properties. Requires Core Gangs integration.

Employees

Businesses hire employees from a deck of 38 unique NPC cards, each with a name, ped model, salary, role, and productivity bonus. See the Employees page for the full deck.

After hiring, employees must be assigned to a property to contribute to production. Unassigned employees still cost salary but produce nothing.

Manager

Required for any property to produce. Enables operations.

Worker

Main production contributor. Stack workers for maximum output.

Security

Minimal production. Protects against gang raids.

Bills

Businesses can send and receive invoices — enabling B2B transactions.

Send Bills

Invoice any player or another business. Track status: pending, paid, cancelled.

Receive Bills

Shown in a popup — shareholders can pay from the business account. Players get personal bills in /bills.

A refinery can bill a manufacturer for a steel delivery, and the manufacturer pays from their business account.

Markets

Real Estate Market

Browse and purchase properties listed for sale by other businesses. Properties auto-list at 80% value when a business is liquidated.

Global Market

Aggregates all property market listings across the server. Filter by item, price range, and distance. Find the cheapest inputs or identify demand.

Asset Chooser

When a player owns shares in multiple businesses, they pick which one to act on behalf of. Shows name, logo, and balance.

Operations Tick

Every Config.OperationsInterval (default: 24 hours), each business runs its automated operations cycle:

Salaries

All employees are paid from the business balance. If the business can't afford salaries, all productivity drops to zero until payment resumes at the next tick.

Taxes

Net profit (income - expenses - maintenance) is taxed at the business rate (default 15%). Collected taxes are distributed to configured job accounts (police, ambulance, mechanic).

Dividends

Post-tax profit is distributed to shareholders based on the dividendPercent setting and each shareholder's ownership stake.

INFO

Set dividendPercent to 0 to reinvest all profits into the business. This is recommended for growing businesses that need capital for new properties and employees.

Danger Zone

Disband Business

Liquidates the entire business, fires all employees, detaches all properties (listed for sale at 80%), and deletes the business record.

Wipe Data

Resets business statistics and transaction history. Cannot be undone.
