Drug Selling
Walk up to ambient pedestrians and sell them drugs. The system uses zone ownership, heat mechanics, and street reputation to create a dynamic selling experience.
How It Works
- Approach an ambient ped within range (50 unit search radius)
- Initiate a sale — the NPC considers your offer (5-10 second negotiation)
- The NPC either accepts, rejects, or you can attempt to haggle for a better price
- Successful sales increase zone heat and build street reputation

Zone Influence
Where you sell drastically changes the outcome. Selling in your own territory is safest and most profitable:
Unowned Zone
0.3x price. Only 25% ped acceptance. Low heat. High haggle fail rate (55%). Risky and low reward.
Enemy Zone
0.75x price. 60% acceptance but 65% chance the owning gang gets pinged on your location. 1.5x heat multiplier.
Owned Zone
1.0x price. 85% acceptance. Best haggle odds (40% chance, 1.75x bonus). Builds street rep. Safest option.
Street Reputation
In owned zones, successful sales build street reputation:
- Max rep: 100 per zone
- Rep per sale: +3
- Rep decay: -5 per real hour with no sales
- Acceptance bonus: +0.1% per rep point (up to +10%)
- Price bonus: +0.5% per rep point (up to +50%)
TIP
High street rep makes your zone significantly more profitable — a maxed-out zone gives +50% sell price and +10% acceptance rate.
Heat System
Every sale generates heat in the zone. Higher heat means more risk:
- Heat per sale: 15
- Max heat: 100
- Heat decay: 30 minutes to fully decay
- At max heat, undercover cop chance is 3x the base rate
Undercover Cops
Random chance for a buyer to be an undercover cop. They accept your deal to lure you in, then trigger a bust:
- Up to 4 cops spawn nearby (30-60 unit radius)
- Instant 2-star wanted level
- Scales with zone heat — higher heat = more undercovers
- Cop models blend in as regular peds until the bust
Gang Pings (Enemy Territory)
Selling in enemy territory has a 65% chance of pinging the owning gang:
- Gang members see your location blip for 30 seconds
- Both a radius blip and a flashing point blip appear
- This is on top of the reduced prices and higher heat
Dispatch Integration
Failed haggles and undercover busts can trigger dispatch alerts:

Pop some product before hitting the streets. Consuming drugs before selling gives you real gameplay advantages — better prices, smoother haggling, and higher acceptance from buyers. The riskier the drug, the bigger the edge.
RISK vs REWARD
Harder drugs give stronger bonuses but have shorter durations and more intense side effects. A crack-fueled selling spree pays 1.5x but you've only got 40 seconds and your screen is shaking. Play it safe with weed, or go all in.
Crack — The Hustler
1.5x sell price (highest). 40s duration — short but intense. Speed, strength, infinite stamina. Go fast, sell hard.
Cocaine — The Closer
1.4x sell price. 60s duration. Speed boost, infinite stamina, focus effect. Confident and quick.
Ecstasy — The Negotiator
Best haggle drug. 30 haggle reduction makes almost every negotiation succeed. 120s to work the block.
Meth — The Marathon
1.3x sell price. 150s duration — longest lasting. Speed, strength, stamina. Grind an entire zone.
Purple Haze — Smooth Operator
1.25x sell. 80s duration. Focus effect, no crazy visuals. Best weed for selling — chill and profitable.
