Controls

All keyboard and mouse controls for navigating and using Core Inventory.

Opening & Closing

TAB
Open / Close Inventory

Opens the inventory UI. Press again or use ESC to close. This is the default key — players can rebind it in FiveM's keybind settings.

ESC
Close Inventory

Closes the inventory UI and any open sub-menus (attachment panels, context menus, etc).

Weapon Slots

Pull out weapons instantly using the weapon slot keybinds — no need to open the inventory.

1
Primary Weapon

Equips or holsters the weapon in your primary weapon slot. Works outside the inventory.

2
Secondary Weapon

Equips or holsters the weapon in your secondary slot. Only available if EnableSecondaryWeaponSlot is enabled in config.

3
Melee Weapon

Equips or holsters your melee weapon. Only available if EnableMeleeWeaponSlot is enabled in config.

R
Reload Magazine

Reloads the currently equipped weapon's magazine. Works outside the inventory — standard FiveM reload keybind.

Item Interaction

Double Click
Use Item

Double-click any item in your inventory to use it. Works on usable items like food, drinks, clothing, etc. Weapons will be equipped instead.

Right Click
Context Menu

Opens a dropdown menu with options: Use, Drop, Destroy, Open (for container items), and custom keybind assignment.

CTRL+Click
Quick Move

Instantly moves an item between your inventory and the other open inventory. If a matching category slot exists (clothing, weapon holder), it goes there first. Otherwise it finds the first available spot in the other inventory.

Middle Click
Drop Item

Drops the item on the ground, creating a drop point other players can pick up. Hold SHIFT + Middle Click to destroy the item instead (if enabled in config).

Item Management

SHIFT+Drag
Split Stack

Hold SHIFT then drag a stacked item to split it. A slider appears letting you choose how many to split off. Release SHIFT or press ENTER to confirm the split amount.

R
Rotate Item

While dragging an item, press R to rotate it 90 degrees. Useful for fitting items into tight grid spaces — swaps the item's width and height.

ENTER
Confirm Split

When the split slider is active, press ENTER to confirm the split amount and place the items.

Custom Keybinds

You can bind any item to a key of your choice for quick use without opening the inventory.

Any Key
Use Keybinded Item

Right-click an item and select the keybind option to assign any key to it. Press that key outside the inventory to instantly use the item. Keys 1, 2, 3 and R are reserved for weapon slots and reload. Keybinds are saved per-character when SaveKeybinds is enabled in config.
